I started cruising in 2018. My mom, “Brenda Hetzel”, aka my business partner and my dad have been cruising since 2002. They had been trying to get me to join them, but the only thing on my mind was the “Titanic”! It scared me. I was also terrified of being on a plane! Seeing how much fun my family had with the many cruises and places they visited, intrigued me. When I saw they were ready to book another cruise in 2018, they talked me into booking with them. I was HOOKED after that! I booked another cruise that same year with just my two children. I was a little afraid to go alone because it was only my second cruise, but I had paid attention when I went earlier with my family and we had so much fun.

The following year, I booked our family cruise myself. It was then I learned the importance of using a travel agent. My daughter thought she had her cruise documents with her, but unfortunately, she did not. Because I had booked the cruise myself, it was difficult trying to get anyone to help figure out how to get her on the cruise without the proper documentation. They kept asking me what agent I booked with. Without having an agent to help me with this situation, I was on my own to figure something out. Some of us from the group drove down to Florida and visited Disney World before the cruise so I had time to call my parents before they flew down. They grabbed all her documents, so we were finally able to successfully check in. That was when I decided “I want to be my own travel agent” and started working under Cruise Brothers company.

I, personally, have only cruised with Carnival Cruise Line, so far totaling 14 cruises, but I plan to book on other cruise lines as well. I want to have my own experiences with different cruise lines, ports of call, destinations, and ships to have a better understanding for my clients. Brenda has been on four different cruise lines totaling 29 cruises…so far! Partnering up with Brenda gives me some insight on other cruise lines and ships that she experienced making us a great fit for helping you book the perfect personal vacation trip.
